Creamy Eggs

1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded
Pinch chopped chives, optional
2 tablespoons heavy cream

Butter the inside of a ramekin. Cut any remaining butter into small pieces and scatter around the bottom of the dish. Crack the eggs into the dish then season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the cheese and chives then drizzle the cream over everything. Place on the 1-inch rack in a NuWave oven and cook on HIGH for 10 - 12 minutes.

Reponse from Linda Sue:
When I make the Creamy Eggs, I use a full ounce of cheese. I've tried them with less and wasn't as happy with the results. Here's what they look like:

Linda's Early Rise Breakfast

http://genaw.com/lowcarb/early_rise_breakfast.html

I left out the green pepper and sprinkled some poultry seasoning in the pan when I was frying the sausage. I also fried the mushrooms with the meat and onions so that they would soak up the extra fat. I used 9 eggs and 3/4 cup of cream which was just right for the NuWave pan. I cooked it on the tall rack turned upside down for 22 minutes and let it rest for ten minutes before I lifted the dome. It turned out great!

Hey Valcan.

Just thought I would leave ya a note to let ya know that I tried the above Egg Omelette this morning, and it was really good!!! Thank you for supplying we nuwavers with a 2 egg recipe the one in the cook book would be simply too large for just one person. (I'm single) Also, just to let you know, I've also tried hamburgers & turkey bacon. Both turned out perfect! I haven't tried anything too complicated as of yet. but my confidence is growing by the moment.
