Rosemary Thyme Turkey Breast

This is a great meal for your Nuwave/Flavorwave oven from frozen! Your house will smell yummy! Note: depending on your size of Turkey Breast you might want to check after 1:15 to your liking. I normally like mine "Well done".

6 servings 1½ hours 10 min prep

4 lbs turkey breast, Frozen
3 tablespoons rosemary
3 tablespoons thyme
2 1/2 tablespoons garlic salt (or regular salt if you like)

Mix Rosemary, Thyme & garlic salt together. Dunk Turkey Breast in warm water for a minute or two. This will make the skin able to take rub.
Place rub all over Turkey.
Place in your Nuwave for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours on high.
Note, if Turkey starts to get brown, you can "flip it over" 3/4 of the way though cooking time. This will brown both sides of the Turkey.
If you wish to cook one side, cover with foil if getting to brown.
Check Turkey with therm. It should read 180 for well done, if lower cook an additional 10 minute Check again. Depending on how frozen, this is a guidline. Check after 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.

Whole Frozen Turkey (10 pounds)

Buying a frozen turkey and making it in less than 2 1/2 hours is so easy and is an unexpected treat for the whole family.
Unwrap the frozen turkey and rinse in cold water. While still wet, season the outside as desired and place on liner pan or 1" rack breast side down. Nu-Wave on HI for 60 minutes. (At this point, the gizzards inside should be defrosted and you can remove for later use. Season or fill cavity with vegetables at this point). Turn turkey breast side up Nu-Wave on HI for another 75-90 minutes or until thermometer reads 165°F. If the skin is becoming too brown, cover with tin foil just as you would a conventional oven.
Let the bird sit as usual and use drippings from pan to make delicious gravy.
(If you want to make up to a 15 pound bird, see our extender ring.)

Cornish Hens

These tasty birds are almost always available frozen therefore they are perfect to cook in the Nu-Wave Oven and come out crisp on the outside and moist on the inside!
Remove the wrapper and run under water to remove the glaze. Place on the 1" rack, breast side down, and Nu-Wave on HI for 30 minutes. Pry open the cavity, remove the giblets, and season the cavity. Turn over and cook another 20 minutes or to 170°F.

Turkey Jerky

Turkey jerky, just used turkey breast cutlets, pounded them out, sprinkled on some teriyaki marinade and cooked them per recipe...it is sooo good, cheap, and very little carbs like 1 for the whole batch....

Stuffed Turkey Burgers

Semi thaw a tube of lean ground turkey and cut the tube into eight even slices. Put a spoonful of the spinach artichoke dip and a pinch of mozzarella between two slices and seal the edges all the way around the patty together. Nuwave 8 - 10 minutes per side

Turkey Pizza Burgers

Cook burgers 6 min on one side, 6 min on the other. Top with 2 T low carb pizza sauce, mushrooms and cheese. Heat in the Nuwave for another 2 - 3 minutes.

Turkey Stuffed Peppers

Sautée some onion and garlic and let that cool awhile. Then mixed with ground turkey and stuffed into red and yellow bell peppers. Cook in the NuWave for 7 - 8 minutes. Put a little mozzarella cheese on top and cooked about 2 minutes to melt the cheese.

Italian Turkey Sausage and Jalapeno Peppers
Split the peppers length ways and removed the seeds and the ribs.
Then fill with the sausage and covered with a small amount of provolone cheese and cooked on high until the cheese is golden brown.
